Glendale "Bugler" - Medal of Honor
In the field of combat heroism, the Medal of Honor is the highest and most rarely awarded decoration conferred by the U.S. The deed for which the Medal of Honor is awarded must have been one of personal bravery or self-sacrifice so conspicuous as to clearly distinguish the individual for gallantry and intrepidity above his comrades and must have involved risk of life. There must be incontestable proof of the performance of the service. Presentation of the Medal of Honor is made only by the President of the U.S.
